Customer charter for home adaptations for the disabled needed

Mohammad Asghar AM has called on the Welsh Government to reconsider its rejection of proposals to introduce a customer charter in relation to home adaptation services for disabled people.
Mohammad Asghar said:
“The Assembly’s Communities, Equality and Local Government Committee recommended that local authorities, working with registered social landlords, should produce a customer charter setting out commitments to residents in relation to adaptation services.”
“This would ensure that services are centred on the needs of the customer and it has the support of the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales.”
“I am disappointed that the Welsh Government has decided to reject this recommendation and I am calling on the Minister to reconsider this matter which will greatly benefit disabled people in Wales.”
